The Bonsecours Ceramics Centre is a hub for training, research, creation, and promotion of ceramics in Quebec.
The Bonsecours Ceramics Centre serves as a venue for showcasing ceramics through its exhibition gallery located on the ground floor of 444 Saint-Gabriel Street in Old Montreal. Since 1982, the Bonsecours Ceramics Centre has been housed in a building owned by the City of Montreal: the former Saint-Gabriel Fire Station, the city’s oldest fire station, built in the 19th century. Acquired through a long-term lease, this building was completely renovated with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, as the Saint-Gabriel Fire Station is a designated heritage site due to its magnificent façade.
