Tuesday to Sunday : 10:00-17:00 Wednesday : 10:00-21:00

Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal

The MBAM houses one of the largest and most prestigious collections of decorative arts and design in North America. Discover a fully redesigned journey where iconic works, recent acquisitions, and objects unveiled for the first time come together. The new presentation features more than 400 artists and artisans, as well as numerous objects and furniture pieces by Edward Barnard & Sons, Carlo Bugatti, Christopher Dresser, Charles and Ray Eames, Shiro Kuramata, Memphis, William Morris, Carlo Mollino, Jean-Pierre Latz, and the Manufacture de Sèvres.

Among the recent acquisitions are works from the École du meuble de Montréal, the Clairtone Sound Corporation, François Dallegret, Hitomi Hosono, and Humble Nature x Caroline Monnet.

Other creations—by Paul-Émile Borduas, Shary Boyle, Greg Curnoe, Nadia Myre, and Nam June Paik—further enrich the dialogue between design, decorative arts, and visual arts.
