Design Artisan: Immersion dans le geste et la matière

L’Autre Atelier opens its doors for an immersive walk through its Montreal creative space. Visitors will discover a path among machines and materials, observe demonstrations on the wood lathe, explore wood samples, and try a few artisanal gestures themselves.

The experience continues with a black-and-white photographic exhibition revealing the poetry of the gesture and the materiality of the projects. The event combines observation, interaction, and storytelling, offering insight into artisanal design and material experimentation.

It provides an opportunity to understand the creative process, appreciate manual craftsmanship, and engage in dialogue with the artisans. Accessible and sensory, the event reflects L’Autre Atelier’s approach: design as a living experience, where every gesture and every material tells a story.
