Living color: Objects, materials and volume in transformation

From May 5 to May 8

Wednesday May 6 11:00—18:00, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 11:00—19:00

Chapelle des Hospitalières

On the occasion of Montreal Design Week, Sophie Gaillot et Richard Pontais, Laboratoire Textile, Atelier b, Annie Legault, and Studio Minéral bring together their practices around a shared theme: colour.

Living color: Objects, Materials and Volume in Transformation offers a sensitive dialogue between light, texture, and form.

Gathered within the exceptional setting of the chapel of the Cité-des-Hospitalières, a place rich in history and memory, the designers occupy the space through an exhibition that explores colour in their most recent works. Objects, textiles, and volumes reveal their expertise, at the intersection of heritage and contemporary creation.

This initiative was selected as part of the call for participation issued by the Bureau de design de la ville de Montréal.
