This visit offers an immersion into the world of a ceramic artist who reinterprets the vase through a contemporary sculptural approach. Working primarily with hand-building techniques, Édith Sévigny-Martel creates large-scale organic forms emerging from an intuitive and experimental process.
Rooted in repetition and dialogue with the material, her practice balances the historical traditions of ceramics with a distinctly contemporary sensibility. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the creative process, observe artisanal techniques in action, and gain insight into how the material takes shape through the interplay of gesture and experimentation.
