To mark the first edition of Montreal Design Week, Lambert & Fils is opening the doors of Galerie 6250—located next to its workshops—to the public.
The studio has invited Ourse, a Toronto-based contemporary furniture company with production workshops in Montreal, to take over the space. A specially designed installation highlights the interplay between furniture and lighting. This marks the coming together of two studios for whom collaboration with external designers is a key driver of creativity. This presentation brings together pieces resulting from collaborations with several designers, including Thom Fougere Studio, Kwangho Lee, Jake Oliveira Studio, SmallMediumLarge, and Rachel Bussin. Lambert & Fils would like to thank Benjamin Moore for its generous contribution of paint.
Opening reception in collaboration with Index-Design on Wednesday, April 28, starting at 6:00 p.m. (by reservation).
This initiative was selected as part of the City of Montreal Design Bureau’s call for participation.
