While We’re Still Here is an exhibition presented by artists working at Studio Beaumont. The exhibition takes place in the building’s former loading dock and industrial ground floor.
Rather than separating the works from their context, the exhibition is conceived in situ. Materials and elements already present in the building therefore contribute to shaping the exhibition environment. Final works are presented alongside prototypes, tools, and works in progress, reflecting the daily reality of production within the space.
Visitors are invited to move through the building as it functions, discovering an active working environment marked by collaboration, adaptation, and the ongoing evolution of Montréal’s creative landscape.
This initiative was selected as part of the call for participation issued by the Bureau de design de la ville de Montréal.
