As part of Design Week, an open studio event will take place at the workshop of Clara Jorisch and Verre d’Onge. For this occasion, they will jointly present a selection of objects created using various glassblowing and glass-firing techniques.
Experimental samples and works in progress will also be on display, aiming to raise awareness of the possibilities of glass as a design material, integrated into architecture and space.

This initiative was selected by the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec (CMAQ), whose mission is to represent, support, and develop the field of arts and crafts in Quebec. The CMAQ brings together and represents professional artisans in the arts and crafts sector, supports their professional development, and promotes the dissemination and marketing of their creations. To achieve this, it collaborates with the entire arts and crafts ecosystem in Quebec and Canada. The CMAQ has over 1,000 professional members. For Design Week, the CMAQ offers a guide to artisan workshops and events to explore throughout Quebec’s cities of art.
