The 1875 building is named after Charles-Séraphin Rodier Jr., a prominent French-Canadian entrepreneur in Montreal’s business world. With its atypical shape, the Rodier holds significant architectural and urban value, as constructing a triangular building required a unique level of skill and innovation for the city.
A complete redevelopment of all floors and the façade was completed in 2018–2019.
This building will be open to the public during the “Design & Sustainable Vision: Transdisciplinary Culture” event.
This address is part of the tour presented by Gestion G. Coulombe, which offers a tour of Old Montreal’s iconic historic buildings.
