From Building to Plate: Rethinking a Holistic Sustainable Experience

Through a close dialogue between L’Abri, the restaurant Parcelle, and Sid Lee Architecture, this panel explores an integrated approach where designing, cultivating, and experimenting become inseparable. Imagined and designed by L’Abri as part of a new project for Parcelle, the space extends a “farm-to-table” philosophy in which architecture carries the cycles of living systems into the culinary experience. More than a simple reception space, it aims to become an active contributor to gastronomy, spatially expressing values of proximity, seasonality, and responsibility.

In this context, Sid Lee Architecture brings a complementary perspective by positioning experience as an essential link between disciplines. How can architecture orchestrate narratives, amplify intentions, and create meaningful moments in alignment with sustainable approaches like those of L’Abri and Parcelle? By combining their practices, the speakers reveal a shared vision: an ecosystem where design, gastronomy, and eco-responsibility interact and reinforce one another, shaping experiences that are both sensitive, coherent, and engaged.
