After a two-year hiatus, Lambert & Fils reopens its gallery at 6250 Hutchison, at the heart of its Mile-End atelier. To mark the occasion, the studio welcomes Ourse, a Toronto-based contemporary furniture editor with production workshops in Montréal, as its first guest.
The exhibition brings together a selection of luminaires from Lambert & Fils’ most recent collections, including the new Bolda models shown in Montréal for the first time, alongside pieces by designers linked to Ourse: Thom Fougere Studio, MSDS Studio, Jake Oliveira Studio, SmallMediumLarge, and Nicole Marion. The ensemble creates a natural dialogue between light and furniture, united by sensibilities that are both distinct and shared.
This new chapter for the gallery is also an opportunity to shine a light on the work of Montréal and Canadian designers and to position Montréal as a meeting point: diverse, generous, and fertile ground for imagining a design community that is vibrant and ever-growing.
